Absolwent Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. Władysława Strzemińskiego w Łodzi.
Od 1992 roku nauczyciel akademicki w macierzystej Uczelni.
W latach 2007-2012 sprawował funkcję kierownika Katedry Komunikacji Wizualnej na Wydziale Wzornictwa i Architektury Wnętrz.
W 2013 roku uzyskał tytuł profesora zwyczajnego.
Od roku 2016 kierownik Pracowni Malarstwa na Wydziale Sztuk Pięknych w ASP w Łodzi.
Autor ponad 30 wystaw indywidualnych malarstwa, a także udział w około 100 wystawach zbiorowych w kraju i za granicą.
W 2023 roku otrzymał Medal „Zasłużony Kulturze Gloria Artis”
Uprawia malarstwo, rysunek i grafikę.
Janusz Antoszczyk is a graduate of the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź.
He has been an academic teacher at his home academy since 1992.
In 2007-2012 he was the head of the Department of Visual Communication at the Faculty of Design and Interior Architecture.
In 2013 he received the title of full professor.
From 2016, he has been a head of the Painting Studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź.
Up till now, he has had 30 individual painting exhibitions, and participated in around 100 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
He creates paintings, drawings and prints.
